Thiago Achatz

Thiago Waddington Achatz is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Z1, a financial technology company focused on credit card administration and financial institution holdings. Before establishing Z1, he was a founding team member at the delivery platform Rappi, which is an alumnus of the Y Combinator Winter 2016 startup batch. He also served on the founding team of the micromobility startup Grow, formed by the merger of Grin and Yellow, where he was instrumental in developing the company's digital wallet infrastructure. In addition to his executive duties at Z1, Achatz acts as an Administrator for the firm and is a Partner at Tops Brasil, an entity managing non-financial institution holdings. His professional career primarily centers on building digital financial products and scaling operations for venture-backed technology enterprises across the broader Latin American market.
