Theo Melas-Kyriazi

Theo Melas-Kyriazi is an Advisor Partner at Flagship Pioneering, where he serves on the boards of multiple life sciences portfolio companies. Previously, he spent nearly two decades at Thermo Electron Corporation, now Thermo Fisher Scientific, including six years as Chief Financial Officer. During his corporate tenure, he successfully raised $2 billion in equity and debt, restructured a $4 billion holding company, executed five initial public offerings, and drove subsidiary revenue growth from $40 million to $200 million. He also served as Chief Financial Officer at Levitronix Technologies LLC and held board director positions at prominent healthcare organizations such as Moderna, Valeant Pharmaceuticals, and Thoratec Corporation. Holding a bachelor's degree in economics and an MBA from Harvard University, Melas-Kyriazi focuses his current efforts on providing financial governance and strategic oversight to emerging private and public biopharmaceutical enterprises.
