Thealzel Lee

Thealzel Lee is a General Partner at the Archangel Network of Funds and eFund, currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia. She also manages the VANTEC Angel Network and the Vancouver chapter of Keiretsu Forum, overseeing early-stage investments across life sciences, deep tech, and cleantech sectors. Through eFund, Lee has directed capital into more than 42 companies, achieving an internal rate of return exceeding 34%, while her involvement with Montfort Capital Corp contributed to the firm reaching approximately $400 million in assets under management. Before transitioning to venture capital, she held advisory and investment banking roles at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and managed refugee operations for the United Nations in Malawi. Holding an MBA from the Ivey School of Business, Lee currently focuses on technology commercialization and operational alignment for early-stage Canadian startups.
