Thatcher Bell is a New York-based investor currently serving as the Head of Startup Studio and Investor-in-Residence at Cornell Tech. Previously, he co-founded CoVenture, an asset management firm spanning venture capital and crypto trading, and served as a Managing Director at Gotham Ventures. His earlier career includes working as a Senior Analyst at North Hill Ventures, the venture capital affiliate of Capital One Financial, and operating roles at enterprise software startups such as OpenPages, which was later acquired by IBM. Throughout his investment career, Bell has backed multiple technology companies, with a portfolio that includes SinglePlatform's sale to Constant Contact, DealerTrack, and Higher One. He holds a 1997 engineering degree from Cornell University and a 2005 Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School. Bell currently focuses on teaching entrepreneurship and guiding early-stage technology investments across enterprise software.
