Thaleia Misailidou

Thaleia Misailidou is a Principal at Marathon Venture Capital based in Greece, where she focuses on seed-stage software and deep tech investments. Over the past nine years, she has evaluated and backed early-stage companies across robotics, artificial intelligence, and gaming, while also serving as an LLP Member of Marathon Venture Capital SPV I LLP since December 2022. Before transitioning to venture capital, she worked in investment banking, including a role on the M&A Industrials team at Merrill Lynch in London and an analyst position at a Munich-based advisory firm. She holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from NTUA and Financial Engineering from Imperial College London, and she co-founded the Tech Finance Network to support the Greek startup ecosystem. Misailidou currently leverages her dual engineering background and financial expertise to identify and fund ambitious technical founders globally.
