Tessa Battistin

Tessa Battistin is the Senior Business Development Manager for the VC and PE Practice at Shopify, based in Ottawa, Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and has accumulated experience across seven companies and eight distinct job titles within the venture capital ecosystem. Previously, she served as Manager of Partnerships for Venture Capital at Justworks and held platform leadership roles, including Director of Platform at Rosecliff Ventures and Manager of Platform at the Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator. In 2021, she became an Investor and Head of Platform at Interlace Ventures, an early-stage fund deploying checks between $100,000 and $10 million into United States commerce startups, and later served as Director of Strategic Programming at Solana Spaces. Battistin currently focuses on driving strategic partnerships within the commerce infrastructure, retail technology, CPG, and fintech sectors.
