Teddy Blank

Teddy Blank is a venture capitalist and startup operator currently serving as a Principal at First Star Ventures, an early-stage investment firm. Prior to his investing career, he led sales and business development at Symphony Commerce, an ecommerce platform that he helped scale to over $10 million in annual recurring revenue in under three years. He also previously co-founded Tempo, a secure biometric data marketplace, and began his professional career working as an analyst at Accenture, where he focused on the telecommunications, banking, and public transit sectors. Additionally, Blank holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College. In his current capacity, he focuses on advising early-stage deep tech startups on go-to-market strategies, initial customer acquisition, and scaling their fundamental business operations from inception.
