Taylor Wakefield

Taylor Wakefield is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Teleport, an infrastructure access platform based in San Francisco, USA. Prior to his current executive role, he co-founded the technology startup Mailgun, serving as its Chief Operating Officer until the business was successfully acquired by Rackspace. Following this acquisition, Wakefield transitioned to Rackspace as Director of Business Development and Product, where he was directly responsible for managing the corporation's San Francisco office. Earlier in his professional career, he spent significant time in the financial sector working as a Managing Director focused on credit derivatives at Bear Stearns. He is a graduate of Boston College, where he completed his undergraduate degree. With over ten years of experience operating technology companies, his current focus centers on scaling enterprise software startups through strategic business development and product operations.
