Taylor Jones

Taylor Jones is currently a Partner at Peterson Ventures, where he focuses on executing growth-stage investments in high-growth technology and software startups. Prior to transitioning into the venture capital industry, he served as the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Blue Matador, a specialized cloud infrastructure monitoring startup. His earlier operational and corporate experience includes managing key partnership and sales strategy initiatives at Google, as well as holding several different marketing and finance roles at American Express. Jones completed his higher education by earning a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University. Today, his primary investment focus centers on bridging his extensive background in corporate tech operations and startup leadership to identify, fund, and support promising growth-stage cloud infrastructure and software companies.
