Tarush Agarwal is the Co-founder and CEO of Cekura, a B2B conversational AI startup based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2024, the company participated in the Y Combinator Fall 2024 batch and has recently expanded its workforce to approximately 15 employees following a sevenfold growth over seven months. Prior to launching his current venture, Agarwal spent three years as a quantitative finance engineer developing ultra-low latency trading systems operating at nanosecond speeds. During this tenure, he successfully restructured a loss-making trading strategy into a profitable operation that generated millions in monthly recurring revenue within three months. He holds a degree in computer science and statistics from IIT Bombay, where his academic foundation supported his transition into complex algorithmic development. Agarwal currently focuses on advancing AI evaluation tools and driving high-growth execution for early-stage enterprise technology platforms.
