Tarun Vallabhaneni

Tarun Vallabhaneni is the CTO and Co-founder of Rovi Health, an AI-driven healthcare concierge startup based in New York. Founded in 2025 as part of the Y Combinator F25 batch, the three-person company is backed by Lightspeed and Gradient to provide text-based health insurance navigation services that serve thousands of employees and target 10-20% cost reductions for employers. Prior to launching the company alongside his brother and CEO Santosh Vallabhaneni, he developed foundational artificial intelligence models to predict extreme weather events at the University of Chicago. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on AI and high-performance computing from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cornell University. Vallabhaneni currently focuses on applying artificial intelligence and high-performance computing to resolve complex data challenges within the healthcare sector.
