Taro Inaba

Taro Inaba is the Founder and Managing Partner of Remiges Ventures, an independent cross-border life sciences venture capital firm based in Seattle, Washington. Before establishing the firm, he spent 13 years at Mitsui Ventures, where he pioneered international biotechnology investments and built a track record of over 20 years in the healthcare sector. In his current capacity, Inaba serves on the board of directors for seven portfolio companies and directs Koinobori, an initiative focused on mitochondrial disease drug discovery. His investment portfolio includes successful backing of Boston Biomedical and Hutchison Medipharma, while his firm secured a $25 million commitment from Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma for its second biopharma fund. Inaba primarily focuses on leading Series A rounds and creating de-novo companies from Japanese academia to advance early-stage drug development across the United States, Europe, and Japan.
