Tarek Müller is the Managing Partner at SquareOne Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Berlin, Germany. Prior to co-founding the firm in 2018, he worked at Microsoft Ventures and gained experience as an entrepreneur after studying business at the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management. Under his leadership, SquareOne manages over €150 million in assets under management and has executed more than 100 investments, backing prominent European technology companies such as Personio, Omio, and Forto. In March 2025, Müller led the €100 million close of the firm's third fund and directed a Series B investment into the German artificial intelligence startup Aleph Alpha. His current investment strategy primarily focuses on providing pre-seed and seed funding to European founders developing scalable enterprise solutions across the deep tech, climate tech, mobility, and fintech sectors.
