Tara Bishop

Tara Bishop is an investor at Black Opal Ventures based in San Francisco, California, where she focuses on sourcing and funding seed to Series A healthcare startups. Before transitioning to venture capital in 2023, she worked as a practicing emergency medicine physician after earning her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, San Francisco.
