Tanya Bakalov

Tanya Bakalov is a Partner at VT Technology Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in the Boston area. She began her professional career as an IT and Sarbanes-Oxley Auditor at Deloitte before transitioning into the technology entrepreneurship space. Bakalov previously co-founded SevOne, a network management software provider that she scaled to more than 500 employees and a valuation approaching $1 billion prior to its eventual acquisition by IBM. Following this exit, she co-founded HelloTeam, an employee engagement and talent management platform that secured $2.7 million in funding from investors including Bain Capital Ventures, VT Technology Ventures, and Osage Ventures. Her current focus centers on advising and investing in early-stage B2B software startups, leveraging her background as a certified public accountant and serial founder to guide portfolio companies through complex financing rounds and operational scaling.
