Prior to launching the legal and regulatory tech startup, he served as an investor and Partner at Formation 8, a venture capital firm where he managed early-stage technology investments. Earlier in his professional career, Chau worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising global corporate clients on strategic and operational initiatives. At Paxton AI, he recently led the company through a $6 million seed funding round to expand its proprietary legal assistant platform. He holds a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
