Tamzid Razzaque

Tamzid Razzaque is the Co-Founder of SigmanticAI, an early-stage technology startup developing artificial intelligence tools for custom chip design and silicon verification. Prior to launching his current venture, he worked on custom circuits at Apple and conducted research on custom FPGA accelerators at the Berkeley Wireless Research Center. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley, where he focused on integrating artificial intelligence applications with custom hardware design alongside his future co-founder, Rohil Khare. His company was recently selected to participate in the Y Combinator S25 batch, securing institutional backing to build AI agents that accelerate hardware description language processes. Additionally, he recently featured in an IEEE vTools event discussing AI hardware innovation. Razzaque currently focuses on advancing AI-native hardware design automation to streamline complex silicon engineering workflows.
