Tammi Smorynski

Tammi Smorynski currently serves as an instructor at the GCV Institute, focusing on corporate venture capital education and professional instruction. Previously, she spent 24 years at Intel Capital, culminating in her position as Managing Director before her formal departure in September 2024. While at the semiconductor corporation's investment arm, she directed strategic technology investments and managed complex corporate venturing initiatives across multiple global markets. Smorynski holds a Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Accounting and International Management from Georgetown University. She recently discussed her corporate venturing expertise on the Corporate Venturing Insider podcast, a program associated with TDK Ventures. Her current professional focus centers entirely on advancing corporate venture capital practices and guiding the next generation of strategic technology investors.
