Tamara Thompson

Tamara Thompson is the Founder of Thompson Legal Advisory Services, P.C., operating as a dedicated corporate lawyer and English law advisor based in California. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Southern California in 1991, followed by a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University in 1994. Since establishing her independent legal practice in 2000, Thompson has worked on thousands of venture capital and M&A transactions for her diverse clients. She frequently serves as external counsel to support in-house legal teams at larger companies, while also providing comprehensive legal services to individual founders, venture capital firms, corporate investors, and early-stage startups. In addition to her primary corporate legal work, she is also an active angel investor in startups, affiliated with prominent investment groups such as Broadway Angels.
