Tamar Farfel-Becker

Dr. Tamar Farfel-Becker is an investor and neurobiologist currently affiliated with Yeda Technology Transfer in Rehovot, Israel. She previously served as an Analyst and Investor at aMoon Fund, Israel's largest life sciences venture capital firm, where she sourced health tech investments and managed the aMoon Growth Fund portfolio. During her tenure, she evaluated emerging technologies and analyzed Q2 2023 industry innovations, including artificial intelligence protein design and organ-on-chip platforms. Prior to her venture capital career, she completed postdoctoral research on neuronal lysosomes at the National Institutes of Health.
