Tal Slobodkin is a General Partner at Aleph, an early-stage venture capital firm, based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Prior to joining Aleph in 2023, he co-founded and served as the product lead at Payoneer, a financial technology company that completed its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in 2021 under the ticker PAYO. Throughout his career, Slobodkin has directed investments into more than 20 technology companies, maintaining a portfolio that includes recognizable entities such as Upstart and Rapyd. He recently led a $15 million Series A funding round for the fintech startup Rise in the first quarter of 2025 and holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. His current investment focus centers on early-stage enterprise software as a service, cybersecurity, and financial technology startups operating across global markets.
