Taejoon Park

Taejoon Park is a Managing Director at LG Technology Ventures in Santa Clara, California, where he has led the firm's artificial intelligence investment portfolio since co-founding the team in 2018. Before joining LG, he spent seven years at Applied Ventures, the venture capital arm of Applied Materials, directing investments across semiconductors, advanced materials, and cleantech. Earlier in his career, Park worked as a senior consultant at Monitor Group in Seoul advising Korean conglomerates, and he holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas. His venture portfolio features prominent technology companies, including Anthropic, Figure AI, ElevenLabs, and Moloco, alongside successful exits like DataFleets and Inpria. With over fifteen years of venture capital experience in Silicon Valley, Park currently focuses on backing early-stage companies developing foundational AI models and advanced semiconductor process technologies.
