Tabreez Verjee is a Partner at The Space Between and the co-founder of Uprising Ventures, operating as an investor based in San Francisco, United States. An environmental engineer by training who earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UC Berkeley, he is a three-time entrepreneur who has been actively engaged in impact investing and social entrepreneurship since 1999. Verjee previously served as an early board member and the founding funder for several prominent tech-enabled nonprofit organizations, specifically including Kiva, Change.org, and Watsi. In his ongoing capacity as an Unreasonable Mentor, he has formally advised more than 12 companies, most recently participating in the Unreasonable Impact Asia Pacific 2024 program to support emerging founders. His current professional focus centers on backing impact-driven social entrepreneurs and allocating capital across financial services platforms designed to address systemic global challenges.
