Sylvain Sachot

Sylvain Sachot is a Partner at Asabys Partners, a life sciences venture capital firm based in Barcelona, Spain. Since joining the firm at its inception in 2018, he has helped manage approximately €217 million in assets under management across 21 investments, two exits, and 13 active healthcare portfolio companies. He currently serves on the board of directors for Anaconda Biomed, Orikine Bio, and Gradient Denervation Technologies, while acting as a board observer for SpliceBio and Medlumics. Prior to his investment career, he spent a decade conducting academic research in gene therapy and regenerative medicine at INSERM in France and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Sachot leverages his doctorate in Molecular Medicine and a Master of Business Administration from ESADE to focus on early-stage biopharma and medtech investments addressing unmet clinical needs.
