Swaraj Dharia is a Class of 2025 MBA candidate at the MIT Sloan School of Management and an Investment Associate at Peak Sustainability Ventures, originally based in Mumbai, India. Prior to his current roles, he worked as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group and gained policy experience at India's Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. During his tenure with the Indian government, Dharia supported carbon market implementation and contributed to the Article 6 Paris Agreement negotiations at the UN COP 26 and COP 27 conferences. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology and a master's degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University. Having also been associated with The Engine Accelerator, his current focus centers on directing venture capital toward high-tech startups developing climate adaptation and mitigation solutions.
