Prior to establishing Webiny, he worked at Akamai Technologies, operating as a technical advisor on web performance and system architecture for major media and e-commerce enterprise customers across Europe. Throughout his career, Al Hamad has held executive leadership positions, acting as the Chief Technology Officer for four distinct technology startups. In these technical roles, he established a proven track record by successfully directing the delivery of several multi-million-dollar engineering projects for large-scale enterprise organizations. Alongside his executive responsibilities, he serves as the primary host of the Enterprise Engineering podcast on the Webiny platform.
