Susan Su

Susan Su is a Partner at Toba Capital based in Seattle, Washington, where she focuses on early-stage climate technology and decarbonization investments. Before joining the venture firm in July 2021, she served as Head of Portfolio and Growth at Sound Ventures and held product and growth roles at Stripe and Google. As an alumna of Stanford University, she also founded the growth advisory business J Curve and was the first employee hired at the educational platform Reforge. In addition to her primary venture capital work, she directs a six-week educational program called Climate Change for VCs and writes a climate investing publication with over 2,000 subscribers. Su currently serves on the boards of the Carbon Business Council and the Environmental Voter Project, dedicating her professional focus to supporting founders who are building climate-positive business models.
