Susan Mason

Susan Mason is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Aligned Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California. Prior to co-founding her current firm in 2011, she spent more than fifteen years as a General Partner at ONSET Ventures, where she focused on early-stage investments in the enterprise technology and communications sectors. Her early professional career includes operating roles in the global semiconductor industry, holding specialized marketing and engineering positions at Fujitsu Microelectronics. Mason received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder and later earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles. Today, her primary focus remains on guiding capital-efficient, early-stage business-to-business startups toward sustainable growth and successful financial exits within the broader technology ecosystem.
