Susan Choe

Susan Choe is the San Francisco-based Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Visionnaire Ventures, as well as the Founder of Katalyst Ventures. Prior to launching Katalyst Ventures in 2018, she accumulated over 25 years of experience in technology investments, including serving as the first female Chief Operating Officer at a publicly traded Asian company. Her corporate background features development and operational roles at Yahoo!, DLJ Direct, and NHN Entertainment. As an entrepreneur, Choe founded Outspark, a startup that generated over $7 million in annual revenue before its 2012 acquisition by Axel Springer. She later advised SoftBank and Sprint on new media initiatives and directed early-stage investments into prominent technology companies like Zipline, Krux, and Helpshift. Choe currently focuses her venture capital efforts on backing early-stage startups that build artificial intelligence applications for the healthcare and financial services sectors.
