Sunjeet Chugh

Sunjeet Chugh is the Chief Technology Officer at Mod AI, an enterprise automation startup backed by the Y Combinator Fall 2025 batch. He previously earned undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before pursuing a career in software engineering. Prior to his current position, Chugh developed expertise in distributed systems and artificial intelligence agents through technical roles at Amazon, Adyen, and an independent consulting firm. At Mod AI, he leads the development of touchless accounts payable infrastructure designed to automate complex enterprise accounting processes. Under his technical direction, the company's platform has successfully streamlined invoice processing workflows by 83 percent for accounting teams ranging from one to over twenty enterprise employees. Chugh currently focuses on leveraging scalable artificial intelligence infrastructure to eliminate manual data entry in corporate finance departments.
