Sunil Chhaya

Sunil Chhaya is the Co-Founder and General Partner at Kearny Jackson, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Prior to launching the firm alongside co-founder Sriram Krishnan, he built a decade-long career as an institutional investor, holding investment roles at Menlo Ventures, Tenaya Capital, and Nextworld Capital. Over the past five years, Chhaya has sourced and deployed more than $60 million in total capital, generating a portfolio that is now valued at approximately $500 million. His investment track record includes early backing of prominent technology companies such as Gong, Aircall, Relyance.AI, Strata, and Observe.AI. At Kearny Jackson, which manages a $65 million venture fund with an active portfolio of nine companies, he currently focuses on leading pre-seed and seed-stage investments across the software-as-a-service, infrastructure, and financial technology sectors.
