Sumant Mandal

Sumant Mandal is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of March Capital, a venture capital firm based in Santa Monica, California. Before establishing the firm in 2014, he served as a Managing Director at Clearstone Venture Partners and earned an MBA from Northwestern University alongside a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University. Over his 20-year career in technology investing, Mandal has co-founded incubators such as The Hive and The Fabric, which have collectively launched more than 25 startup companies. He currently holds board director positions at several enterprise technology companies, including BillDesk, Uniphore, and Nile, while managing March Capital's recent $300 million second fund. As a veteran venture capitalist, his current focus centers on automation technologies, generative artificial intelligence, and cloud data infrastructure bridging the United States and Indian technology ecosystems.
