Sullyen Almeida is a Venture Scout Partner and Principal at monashees, and is currently based in São Paulo, Brazil. With over ten years of dedicated experience in the Latin American venture capital ecosystem, she specializes in directing seed and Series A investments across B2B software, artificial intelligence, legaltech, and educational technology sectors. Since joining the venture capital firm in 2015, Almeida has actively managed portfolio growth and held board positions at several prominent regional startups, including Coderhouse, Jusbrasil, EmCasa, and Nomad. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from UNICAMP and completed technical academic training at the Illinois Institute of Technology as a Science Without Borders scholar. Her current professional focus centers on identifying early-stage enterprise software and emerging technology companies operating within or expanding into the broader Latin American commercial market.
