Sue Siegel is a General Partner at Madrona Venture Group based in Seattle, Washington, where she directs early-stage venture investments across the health tech and biotech sectors. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, she served as the healthcare-focused CEO of Two Sigma Ventures and held executive roles at GE Healthcare, including President and CEO of GE Global Research Bioscience. Over her decades in the life sciences sector, Siegel has invested in more than 20 health tech companies and secured board director roles at organizations including Grail. She holds a master's degree in biochemistry from the Boston University School of Medicine and recently backed a new health AI startup in the first quarter of 2025. Her current focus centers on bridging scientific innovation with business strategy to scale emerging diagnostics, therapeutics, and digital health ventures.
