Suchi Saria

Suchi Saria is the Founder and CEO of Causaly and Managing Partner at Causal Ventures, based in London, United Kingdom. Under her leadership, the AI-powered drug discovery platform Causaly secured a $60 million Series B funding round in 2023 and recently launched the Hypatio AI platform for clinical trial optimization in March 2025. Prior to her entrepreneurial ventures, she earned a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University and served as an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University, where she led the Machine Learning and Data Science for Social Good lab. Saria has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications, collaborated on early career research with Google, and was appointed to the UK AI Council advisory board in January 2026. Her current focus remains on bridging academia and venture capital to advance artificial intelligence applications in precision medicine and biotechnology.
