Stu Strumwasser

Stu Strumwasser is a veteran Managing Director at Green Circle Foodtech Ventures in New York City, focusing on seed and Series A investments in food technology. The Cornell University graduate previously spent fifteen years on Wall Street at firms including Paine Webber before founding Snow Beverages, serving as CEO from 2006 to 2012 and securing distribution in Whole Foods. In 2021, Strumwasser launched Green Circle Capital Partners' inaugural food technology fund with a 25 million dollar target, successfully securing anchor investment from Hormel Foods' 199 Ventures. He directs capital toward innovative startups like The Better Meat Company and UNCAGED Innovations, which recently completed a seed financing round of over five million dollars in 2024. His current investment strategy targets North America, Israel, and the United Kingdom, focusing on sustainable packaging, precision fermentation, alternative proteins, and cultured meat suppliers.
