Steven Xi is the Founding Managing Partner at Eastlink Capital, where he focuses on cross-border technology investments between Silicon Valley and China. Before establishing his current firm, he led China-related investments at Riverwood Capital and worked as the first Mainland Chinese corporate finance associate at CSFB on Wall Street. Throughout his venture capital career, Xi has backed several high-profile global technology companies, serving as an early investor in industry leaders such as Databricks and Uber. At Eastlink Capital, he has directed capital into more than two distinct portfolio companies across the Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A, and Series B+ funding stages. Leveraging his technical background in physics and econometrics alongside his prior startup co-founding and corporate development experience, Xi currently concentrates on sourcing investments within the artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, enterprise software, and developer tools sectors.
