Steven Peralta

Steven Peralta is the Chief Strategic Development Officer for the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at Touro University Nevada, based in the Las Vegas area. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School, an MA in International Studies and Management from the University of Pennsylvania's Lauder Institute, and an AB from Dartmouth College. Additionally, he has completed executive certificate programs at the Yale School of Management and Harvard Business School. Outside of his primary administrative role, Peralta authors two weekly Substack newsletters, "The Shift" and "Not A Machine," which provide essays exploring topics related to burnout recovery, soulful leadership, and organizational development. His current professional focus centers on advancing higher education administration and strategic development, while his writing challenges traditional machine-mindset approaches to work by advocating for human sustainability and workplace culture improvements.
