Steven Kallmeyer

Steven Kallmeyer is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Child Health at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix, based in Phoenix, Arizona. He earned his MD from the University of Cape Town in 1999 before completing an internship at Baragwanath Hospital in 2000 and a transitional internship at Metrowest Medical Center in 2004. Kallmeyer subsequently completed his residency in anesthesia at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2007, followed by a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at Harvard University's Children's Hospital in 2008. He holds dual board certifications in general anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology from the American Board of Anesthesiology, and he currently serves as a faculty member at Phoenix Children's Hospital. His current professional focus centers on advancing clinical pediatric anesthesiology practices and delivering specialized medical education to emerging healthcare professionals.
