Steven Grin

Steven Grin is the Managing Partner of Lateral Frontiers Fund, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York, New York. Over a 25-year career, he has executed more than 60 private transactions across global markets, previously co-founding and managing Capstone Equities, a private equity firm with $500 million in assets under management. Grin also served as a Director in the Office of the President of Guyana, where he led low-carbon development strategies and successfully raised $250 million for national energy and infrastructure initiatives. Earlier in his career, he worked in commercial real estate at the Moinian Group and earned an advanced degree from Columbia University. Today, his primary focus centers on scaling tech-enabled financial, healthcare, and education businesses across emerging and frontier African markets through a $50 million investment vehicle backed by Capria.
