Steven Arellano

Steven Arellano is the Co-founder of Wafer, a technology startup based in San Francisco, California. He graduated from the University of Chicago with a joint degree in computer science and economics, establishing a strong quantitative foundation in both technical engineering and market dynamics. Before launching his current venture, he completed multiple software engineering internships at Google between April 2023 and October 2024, and served as a software engineering intern at Two Sigma during the summer of 2024. His earlier technical experience includes working as a software engineer at blockchain firm Sei Labs in 2022, participating as a CS Above and Beyond Fellow at Meta, and conducting research at AxLab throughout 2024. Arellano currently focuses on building early-stage technology ventures by leveraging his diverse background in software development, artificial intelligence, and blockchain research.
