Steve Taub

Steve Taub is the Managing Director of Investments at JetBlue Technology Ventures in Long Island City, New York. Prior to this role, he spent three years as a Partner at In-Q-Tel, the venture capital vehicle for the United States intelligence community. Taub previously worked for 13 years at General Electric, where he helped launch GE Ventures in 2012 and underwrote over $6 billion in clean energy project finance investments as a Senior Vice President at GE Capital. His broader investment portfolio encompasses nearly 36 early-stage technology startups, including eight exits and three unicorns, with notable investments in companies such as Joby and Desktop Metal. As an active investor, Taub currently focuses on sourcing and structuring deals across the travel, hospitality, and transportation technology sectors, with a specific emphasis on sustainable travel and next-generation aviation.
