Steve Singleton

Steve Singleton is a Managing Director at Mountain Group Partners and President of the Charis Foundation, based in Nashville, Tennessee. Working alongside firm founders Joe Cook Jr. and Joe Cook III, he helps oversee seed and early-stage investments across the life sciences, technology, and agricultural technology sectors. Mountain Group Partners has invested in more than 30 companies to date, deploying capital through multiple dedicated institutional investment vehicles to support early-stage growth. Singleton was notably involved in the investment firm's MGC Venture Partners 2018 LP fund, which reported raising $48.6 million toward a $125 million target, following the fully committed $50 million MGC Venture Partners 2013 LP fund. His current professional focus remains on directing venture capital toward emerging healthcare, life sciences, and technology enterprises while concurrently leading regional philanthropic initiatives through his foundation executive role.
