Steve Schlenker

Steve Schlenker is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of DN Capital, operating primarily from the firm's Menlo Park, California office. Before establishing the $600 million venture capital firm, he served as Chief Investment Officer for technology investments at SUN Capital Partners in London and worked as an analyst at Interlaken Capital. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Throughout his career, which began in 1990, Schlenker has backed several prominent technology startups, leading to notable exits such as Shazam's $400 million acquisition by Apple and Endeca's $1.1 billion sale to Oracle. His current investment focus centers on seed and early-stage enterprise software, business-to-business marketplaces, and consumer mobile services, with a specific emphasis on guiding portfolio companies through European and US market expansions.
