Steve Rhodes

Steve Rhodes is the Managing Partner at Foundry Group, a venture capital firm based in Boulder, Colorado. Since joining the firm as a General Partner in 2010, he has managed over $1 billion in assets and built a portfolio of more than 20 companies. His investment track record includes backing Braintree prior to its $800 million acquisition by PayPal in 2013, as well as recently leading a $50 million Series C funding round for Alloy in March 2025. Rhodes, who holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an AB from Harvard University, also joined the board of directors at Snyk in January 2024. Drawing on his early career experience as a technology startup operator, his current focus remains on scaling growth-stage enterprise software, fintech, and B2B marketplace businesses.
