Steve Pann

Steve Pann is a Managing Partner and co-founder at Razor's Edge Ventures based in Reston, Virginia. Prior to his current venture capital role, he co-founded and served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Blackbird Technologies, and he helped establish the Advanced Concepts Technology division at Raytheon. His 30-year professional career also includes co-founding RavenWing, a technology company that was subsequently acquired by Boeing. Additionally, Pann spent 18 years serving in various United States government roles, ranging from an EOD Bomb Disposal Technician to working on advanced space systems. He currently holds corporate board seats at several defense and aerospace portfolio companies, including HawkEye 360, X-Bow Systems, and BlackSea Technologies. Pann focuses his current venture investments on early-stage and growth-stage companies developing transformative national security technologies across artificial intelligence, aerospace operations, cybersecurity, biotechnology, and quantum computing.
