Steve Messinger

Steve Messinger is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Perseus Defense, a defense technology startup focused on building and deploying advanced swarm robotics autonomy. Prior to establishing this venture, he developed autonomous flight systems for Boeing, where he specifically engineered automated self-landing capabilities for aircraft and designed collaborative operational behaviors for unmanned maritime vessels. As a dedicated swarm robotics researcher and engineer, Messinger has previously won multiple industry competitions by successfully demonstrating the practical deployment of complex, multi-agent robotic behaviors. In his current capacity, his technical scope involves creating real-world autonomy solutions tailored for the United States Department of Defense, targeting both aerial and maritime unmanned platforms.
