Steve Goldberg

Steve Goldberg is a Managing Partner at Founder Collective, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Before transitioning to venture capital, he held product and engineering roles at Akamai and TripAdvisor, and he studied computer science at Harvard University. He previously served as a General Partner at LaunchCapital before joining Founder Collective, which currently manages over $150 million across its funds. Goldberg has built a portfolio of more than 50 companies, backing notable startups that achieved significant exits, including HubSpot's initial public offering, Calendly's unicorn valuation, and PillPack's acquisition by Amazon. His recent investment activity includes participating in the 2024 seed round for the artificial intelligence startup Replicate and speaking at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025. He currently focuses his capital on seed-stage investments across software as a service, financial technology, and developer tools.
