Steve Dauphin

Steve Dauphin is the Co-founder and Partner at Bonaventure Capital, a private markets investment firm based in Birmingham, Alabama. Bringing over 20 years of venture capital experience, he directs the firm's private market activities and advises OneAscent Capital on customized impact portfolios. Before establishing Bonaventure, Dauphin served as Managing Director of the Harbinger Group from 1994 to 1998, worked as a Special Agent with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and held an associate position at Citicorp. He holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard University and an MBA from UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School, and currently sits on the corporate boards of Iyris, Colite Technologies, Tango Tango, and Trashie. Through his work with the Kirchner Impact Foundation, his current investment focus centers on growth-stage opportunities in smarter infrastructure, cleaner energy, and solutions for historically underserved rural communities.
