Steven Baloff

Steven Baloff is the Managing Director at Advanced Technology Ventures and Founder of Twin Lakes Ventures, bringing over thirty years of experience to the venture capital industry. Since joining Advanced Technology Ventures in 1996, he has managed over $1.7 billion across five active investment funds, focusing on the information technology, life sciences, and cleantech sectors. Before his investing career, he founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Worldview Systems, a venture-backed startup that partnered with Sabre Interactive to create Travelocity.com. His early professional background features executive roles in sales, marketing, and general management at Covalent Systems, alongside technology strategy consulting at the San Francisco and London offices of Booz, Allen & Hamilton. He earned a BA degree in economics from Harvard College and subsequently received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
